Sylvia the Cat needs a home
Most people who visit us will only catch a glimpse of Sylvia. She's a stunning cat, but only trusts her foster parents (and not wholeheartedly). We know it's a long shot that she will ever find another home, but she deserves one. She loves to play with feather toys, and gaze out the window. She won't demand too much of your attention, unless you happen to have a can of Fancy Feast! Is there a perfect fit for her somewhere?

She gets along very well with other cats, but new people frighten her. She would do well in a quiet home where she can do as she pleases. (That usually means sleeping on top of the cat tree.)
UPDATE: Sylvia has been making slow but steady progress. She allowed a volunteer who had never even seen her before to pet her and even leaned in as she was scratched behind the ears. She's slowly learning to trust humans. She may never be a lap cat, but we hope she continues to experiment with receiving affection.
